In my sculptural 3D-illustrations, figures are kneaded with Super Sculpey, whereas the backgrounds and objects are made of paper, wood and assorted pieces. The figures are then cured in the oven, airbrushed and set up to be photographed. Sometimes parts are photographed individually in order to be integrated into a picture with Photoshop. Finally, rough cracks, stains and the like are retouched. Nevertheless, a handmade impression will be preserved. The whole process is very elaborate, but it is certainly worth it.
